Arrest affidavit reveals confrontation between 68-year-old dog walker and suspect before ‘brazen attack’ in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A newly obtained arrest affidavit is shedding more light on the moments leading up to what police have called a “brazen attack” on a woman walking her dog in broad daylight.

The documents, which WSMV obtained on Friday, reveal that the woman was in a confrontation and argument with the suspect before the attack.

The argument started at about 11:45 a.m. on August 29, according to arrest records. The 68-year-old, who arrest papers identified as “Ms. Sheridan,” was walking her dog near Music Row when she headed down the alley between Deford Vailey Avenue and Dorothy Place…
