The aftermath of a tragic hit-and-run incident has culminated in 23-year-old Jordyn Walker facing multiple charges, including vehicular homicide by reckless conduct. Walker, the driver of a Mercedes sedan, turned herself in last Friday night after the fatal Tuesday crash that killed motorcyclist James Sellars on Old Hickory Boulevard, as first reported by the Nashville Police Department.
Sellars, a 33-year-old resident of Hendersonville, was rear-ended by Walker’s vehicle and was propelled into a traffic light pole, where he succumbed to his injuries, instantly. In her confession, Walker admitted to not only being behind the wheel at the time of the impact but also to fleeing the scene without offering assistance to Sellars, along with tampering with evidence. Her Mercedes was located the following day in the 3400 block of Lebanon Pike.
