Motorcyclists dead after speeding, ‘lane-splitting’ led to crashes on I-24 in TN, police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Metro Nashville Police Department has announced the death of two motorcyclists who were allegedly speeding and “lane-splitting,” which led to crashes on Interstate 24 over the weekend.

MNPD reports that days after the first motorcyclist died, the second motorcyclist involved in the crashes on I-24 has died.

Police released the identities of the deceased involved in this incident:

  • Armando Zavala, 20, of Lithia Springs, Georgia
  • Terrell Robins Jr., 26, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky
