NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police arrested a teenager accused of shooting and injuring a man in Hermitage earlier this month.

The Metro Nashville Police Department said the shooting happened along Burning Tree Drive on Sept. 2. An investigation revealed that the teen approached the 21-year-old victim in an apartment complex and fired at him before fleeing the scene.
The victim was reportedly transported to Skyline Medical Center for treatment. The teen has been charged in Juvenile Court with attempted homicide, juvenile handgun possession and employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
A spokesperson for the MNPD confirmed to News 2 that the teenager was arrested in connection with the same shooting incident described in a media release about the arrest of 25-year-old Quendez Volland of Old Hickory.
