NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A woman is facing multiple charges after leading police on a chase with a child in the car and crashing near the Davidson County line on Thursday evening, authorities said.
According to the arrest affidavit, an officer with the Metro Nashville Police Department watched a black Jaguar sedan drive by, going 74 mph in a 55 mph zone on Ashland City Highway.
The officer engaged his patrol vehicle’s lights to signal the Jaguar to pull over. Instead of slowing down, however, the Jaguar sped up and attempted to make a dangerous turn onto River Trace, the affidavit states.
