Nashville Public Library launches free music lessons program

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Nashville Public Library is offering a full year of free music lessons and providing the musical instruments for kids to use during class and to take home for practice.

The library is offering musical instruction classes for the guitar, ukulele and keyboard.

The instruments will be housed at the branch where the lessons will be taken. And kids will get hands-on and guided learning from mentors in the music industry.

The music lessons will vary depending on the class. Classes can range from 10 weeks long, once a week, “drop-in” classes or will be one-time workshops…
