Jamaican man convicted of 1st-degree murder stemming from 2024 robbery at Cedar Creek Marina restaurant

LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) – A 40-year-old immigrant from Jamaica was convicted this week of the murder of an innocent bystander and the robbery of a restaurant at Cedar Creek Marina in the summer of 2024.

A Wilson County jury returned guilty verdicts for 40-year-old Adrian McClean on Thursday afternoon. McClean was found guilty of first-degree murder and three counts of aggravated robbery, stemming from the armed robbery and subsequent homicide at Scoreboard on June 29, 2024.

McClean and two accomplices waited the night of June 29 for the restaurant to close before entering with guns drawn and physically demanding that the staff open the cash safe on the premises…
