NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A headless body found in Nashville last month has been identified, and Metro police do not suspect foul play.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the remains found on Aug. 22 behind the McDonald’s in the 3300 block of Dickerson Pike have been identified as 68-year-old Michael Allen.

Police said unhoused individuals found Allen’s decomposed body wrapped in a blanket in a shed along the woodline. The unhoused individuals told authorities that they moved Allen’s skull to prove they discovered Allen’s body before police arrived.
Metro police believe Allen wrapped himself in a blanket to protect himself from extreme cold, and no signs point to someone intentionally wrapping him up…
