LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Investigators discovered drugs, guns and cash at a La Vergne business after it caught fire earlier this month.
The city of La Vergne posted the business has been under investigation by the police department for at least six months.

Fire crews were called to a fire at Tobacco Brew and Chew on Murfreesboro Road the night of Monday, Sept. 15. During the response, firefighters found possible evidence of drugs while checking for hazards, according to a release.
Firefighters then notified the police department narcotics division about suspected marijuana at the business. The narcotics division obtained a search warrant and found:
- More than five pounds of marijuana packaged for resale
- Seven firearms
- 286 pills with markings consistent with 30 mg Oxycodone
- 63 pills with markings consistent with Adderall
- $7,678 in U.S. currency
