Fleeing suspect crashes into Metro patrol cars in Midtown

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man accused of crashing into two Metro police patrol cars while attempting to flee detectives was booked into jail Thursday on multiple felony charges.

According to court documents, just after midnight Thursday, detectives were surveilling a stolen vehicle driven by Reginald Jordan, 25. When the car stopped in the 1700 block of West End Avenue, officers activated their blue lights and blocked it in.

Reports said Jordan crashed the stolen vehicle into two patrol cars, which were occupied by detectives. He allegedly backed the car into a utility pole and the fence of a nearby gas station before shifting it back to drive and hitting the patrol cars a second time…
