Uncle charged after baby dropped during shooting on University Court

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A second arrest has been made after an 18-month-old child was dropped during a shooting south of downtown Nashville, officials said.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the shooting took place on Aug. 7 at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the 60 block of University Court.

An arrest affidavit states the 18-month-old was inches away as Nicholas Harris, 20, was shot multiple times.
