For six months, the La Vergne Police Department has been investigating a local business for the illegal distribution of marijuana. A Sept. 15 fire provided visible evidence during the Fire Rescue Department’s response and efforts to check for hazards. The result? The discovery and seizure of drugs and multiple firearms.
