Argument ends in gunfire, damages nearby apartment in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man is facing charges after admitting to firing shots at a Nashville apartment complex following an argument on Tuesday.

According to an arrest affidavit from the Metro Nashville Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Knollcrest Apartments on Creekwood Drive for reports of a shooting.

When they arrived, they were flagged down by 30-year-old Kennan Carr outside the Parkwood Community Center down the street. Carr told the officers that he was in an argument with the woman who lives below him at the complex when she called her brother on the phone to come shoot him, the affidavit states.
