Cheatham County fugitive found 12 years after arrest

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A convicted felon who was on the run for more than a decade is back behind bars in Cheatham County.

Jeremy Dotson was arrested in June 2013 for felony methamphetamine charges and introducing contraband into a penal institution. He was later convicted of those charges.

According to the Tennessee Department of Correction, Dotson was sentenced to four years probation and allowed to go to a drug treatment facility. However, Cheatham County law enforcement said the man took off and disappeared for 12 years…
