Two flown to Nashville hospital with ‘critical’ and ‘serious’ injuries after crash in Maury County

MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) – Two people were injured and had to be flown to Nashville after a crash on Friday night, according to the Maury County Fire Department.

MCFD responded to Old Natchez Trace Road near Sutherland Road just after 9 p.m. on Friday for reports of a crash.

The vehicle had driven off the Natchez Trace Parkway and hit the bridge structure below the road, trapping one of the two occupants in the vehicle.
