Pedestrian dies after crash on Sam Ridley Parkway in Smyrna, police say

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Smyrna Police closed a portion of Sam Ridley Parkway on Monday morning as officers investigated a deadly crash involving a pedestrian.

Officials announced at approximately 7 a.m. Monday that Sam Ridley Parkway was closed from Weakley Lane to G Street, and Quecreek Circle was also closed. Investigators told News 2 the crash involved a vehicle and a pedestrian, who did not survive.
