Metro Council approves $355K grant to support health care for Nashville’s homeless

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Council this week approved a $355,200 grant with Neighborhood Health, a nonprofit that provides medical, dental and behavioral health services to people experiencing homelessness across Davidson County.

The funding will help sustain outreach and clinic services for at least 3,500 unhoused residents through Neighborhood Health’s downtown and surrounding clinics. The contract runs through June 2026.
