NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man is back behind bars after he allegedly started a fire at a South Nashville home while his ex-girlfriend and her child were inside.
According to multiple arrest affidavits, the incident unfolded at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7. Investigators said surveillance cameras in the neighborhood showed a man sneaking around a home, starting at the rear of the residence and then moving around to the front.

The man was later identified as 46-year-old Lachaunti Williams. Now, more than a month after the incident, burn marks are still on the back door, which is where authorities said the first fire was set. Meanwhile, the front door shows no visible burns.
Arrest documents state that after the front door mat was set on fire, it was quickly extinguished by the woman who lived inside the home…
