October 14, 2025 – Detectives are pursuing strong leads in the ongoing investigation of the now fatal gunfire from October 5 on Haynes Park Drive that has resulted in the death of Amari Christian, 21. Christian died Monday while hospitalized.
The investigation to this point shows that two groups of females involved in an ongoing dispute went to the area around 6 p.m. on October 5 to fight. After pepper spray was used in the altercation, they all began to leave. A Honda Accord then drove by firing towards young men at the scene.
