Fatal shooting outside Bridgestone Arena sparks self-defense investigation

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A self-defense claim is under investigation after a fatal shooting outside Bridgestone Arena, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD).

Metro Police say the incident occurred at 2:20 a.m. on Oct. 18, when Adrian Rivas-Romo, 23, was shot during an argument with pedicab driver Christopher Jones, 21, over the cost of a fare.
