The Boring Company bought a church in South Nashville. Neighbors want to know what will happen next

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Residents of the Stardust Acres subdivision are seeking answers after a Boring Company subsidiary purchased a church property at their neighborhood entrance for more than double its value.

Franchesa Kirkpatrick, who is disabled and lives in the neighborhood near Murfreesboro Pike, the Briley Parkway and the Nashville International Airport (BNA), said residents have received no communication about future plans for the property.

“We have not gotten any letters. Nobody has had a meeting. Nobody has invited us to do anything to talk about it. We don’t know anything,” Kirkpatrick said. “I mean, you can welcome change if it’s around you, but you can’t welcome something that you don’t even know anything about.”

The Boring Company subsidiary LLC, known as FJ Pads LLC, purchased the property on September 23 for over double its assessed value. The property sits along the route of the planned Music City Loop tunnel project…
