NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 36-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the shooting death of a man at a South Nashville motel in 2023.
Metro police reported 27-year-old Hykame Knowles was shot in the hip in the parking lot of Somatel Motel on Metroplex Drive on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023.

Knowles was taken to Saint Thomas Midtown in a gray sedan detectives found with bullet holes in the driver’s side, according to Metro police. Knowles died at the hospital.
