NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The legal fight over the writings of the Covenant School shooter was back in court on Thursday.
Three judges heard arguments about whether a Davidson County judge got it right when she blocked the public release of those writings last year. But, about 800 of those pages went public anyway thanks to a different public records lawsuit.
During the course of their investigation, Metro Police reportedly collected around 2,000 pages of writings, drawings and other material. The public has only seen about half of them.
