DONELSON, Tenn. (WKRN) — As more than half a million Tennesseans who rely on SNAP wait on their food benefits, one church opened its doors Tuesday to fill the need.
“With the SNAP benefits being held back, they’re struggling, like a lot of people are,” said Charles Hood, a Donelson resident.
Many were at the Donelson Church of Christ Help Center on Tuesday morning when the doors opened.
