Police in Tennessee are investigating after a pedestrian was fatally struck by a train while walking along the tracks.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said officers responded shortly before 3 p.m. Monday to a report of a train-pedestrian collision on the Bell Road overpass in South Nashville.
According to police, the conductor told investigators that a pedestrian was walking along the track facing away from the train. The conductor told police the train’s horn sounded “multiple times,” but the pedestrian remained on the track…
