Beaver Moon shines bright: Tonight’s supermoon is the year’s biggest

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The largest and brightest supermoon of the year is set to light up the night sky on Nov. 5.

According to NASA, a supermoon occurs when a full moon aligns with the moon’s closest approach to Earth in its elliptical orbit.
