On November 8, 2025, Metro Social Services (MSS) held a food and coat giveaway at 2200 26th Avenue North in Nashville, Tennessee. The event was organized with Second Harvest of Middle Tennessee and Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church. The goal was to help address food insecurity in the area.
About 500 people received assistance. Each person got at least one food box, one food bag, and a protein bag with items such as chicken or hot dogs. The food included flour, bread, rice, tuna, and beans. Organizers said these items could last most families for about three weeks.
