Second annual ‘Jams for Jill’ raises money for the next generation of Belmont students

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Many Belmont University students were “Jamming for Jill” Sunday night as a way to play it forward to honor their friend who died.

Jillian Ludwig was a Belmont University freshman when she was killed by a stray bullet two years ago while she was out for a jog at Edgehill Park.

Jillian’s friends describe her as a well-grounded person, and the life of every party. They said she was an aspiring musician. That is where the idea, “Jams for Jill,” started…
