Man killed in Nashville after car crashes through tree line, goes airborne

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man died Thursday after his car crashed through a tree line and went airborne in Nashville.

Tennessee Highway Patrol reports that the wreck happened just before 10:30 a.m. along Briley Parkway East near mile marker 20.

Troopers found that a 55-year-old Tennessee man was driving a Fiat 500 east on the road when he failed to make a curve near mile marker 20. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck, per a THP preliminary report…
