NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell is responding after Congressman Andy Ogles released an explosive statement criticizing the city’s leadership in the wake of a violent attack inside a Germantown apartment building.
The suspect, 29-year-old Joequarius Williams, is a convicted sex offender with a long criminal history and is now set to appear in court Tuesday, Nov. 18. Metro Police say Williams was still serving probation at the time of the assault.
