Suspect charged after man shot in both legs in South Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A suspect has been taken into custody after a fight led to a shooting over the weekend in South Nashville, officials said.

According to arrest documents, the victim arrived to Vanderbilt University Medical Center at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, after sustaining a gunshot wound to his left leg, which then entered his right leg and shattered his femur.

When officers arrived to the hospital, the victim reportedly told them that the shooting happened near Fairfield Avenue and Green Street.
