Parents split as Metro Nashville Public Schools weigh new school start times

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The deadline is fast approaching for Metro Nashville Public Schools on whether school start times should remain or change.

Metro Nashville Public Schools partnered with Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell to look into changes at the end of October. There are multiple phases for leaders to decide whether changes should be made.

But before any decisions are made, school officials have held virtual town halls and posted a survey online…
