Nashville musicians hold benefit concert amid SNAP benefit concerns

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Even though the government shutdown ended, Middle Tennesseans did not want to leave their neighbors hoping for the best, knowing they could make a difference.

Musician Ron Pope organized a benefit concert Sunday night to support local food assistance programs after seeing SNAP benefits at risk.
