Mt. Juliet Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Nashville Fugitive and Discovery of Ecstasy Pills

A routine traffic stop in Mt. Juliet escalated when police officers discovered the driver, a 38-year-old woman from Kingston Springs, was operating a vehicle with an improperly displayed license plate and driving on an indefinitely suspended license. The incident, which happened on Golden Bear Gateway, quickly intensified as the driver attempted to evade law enforcement but was ultimately stopped safely as she entered I-40.

According to a post on the official Mt. Juliet Police social media account, the traffic stop not only uncovered the driver’s license infraction, but also led to the arrest of a wanted 40-year-old male passenger from Nashville after he gave officers a false identity. As the situation unfolded, the man was recognized as a fugitive, wanted by Wilson County for a felony probation violation, which included charges of evading arrest and failing to be booked on a driving while suspended charge.
