A head-on collision in Clarksville resulted in multiple injuries and the temporary closure of a section of Ashland City Road (41A Bypass), local authorities confirmed. The accident involving two vehicles took place shortly before 5:20 p.m. yesterday, according to the Clarksville Police Department (CPD).
One of the drivers suffered serious injuries meriting emergency airlift; as a consequence, they were flown to a Nashville hospital via LifeFlight, a development first reported by WSMV, their condition remains unknown as of the latest updates, the CPD said at least one person involved in the Clarksville collision was in such a critical state that only the rapid transport afforded by a helicopter could suffice to bring them the immediate medical attention necessary at such a juncture.
