KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The U.S. Marshals Service’s Smoky Mountains Fugitive Task Force arrested a woman in Knoxville after she escaped from a Davidson County Sheriff’s Office’s custody in November, the agency released on Tuesday.
According to the Marshals Service, Jamie Lynn Pfitzner, 44, was arrested Tuesday morning on a warrant for escape. The Smoky Mountains Task Force found her at a home on Linden Avenue in Knoxville. She was arrested and taken to the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility, where she was booked and will await extradition to Davidson County.

In a social media post on Nov. 8, the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office said Pfitzner had escaped from the custody of transportation officers while returning from court on Friday, Nov. 7. She was being held on a $21,000 bond on charges including parole violation, felony theft or merchandise, theft of property, theft of identity, and other misdemeanor charges, the sheriff’s office said.
On November 18, the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office requested help from the Middle Tennessee Fugitive Task Force to locate Pfitzner.
