Nashville, TN – A pre-dawn hit-and-run crash on I-24 East in Nashville early Sunday morning left two people dead and several others injured, sparking an ongoing search for the fleeing driver, police said.
According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the crash occurred around 3:20 a.m. near the Old Hickory Boulevard exit. Investigators say a 2001 red Lincoln Navigator, allegedly speeding in heavy traffic, rear-ended a Toyota Sienna, setting off a chain-reaction collision involving a Ford Edge and a Freightliner truck.
