NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A former employee is accused of stealing an embalming machine from a Nashville funeral home, police say.
Officers responded to a theft report at Smith Funeral Home Monday where Melvin Smith, the funeral home director, reported that Christopher Jefferson had taken an embalming machine and five embalming headrests back in November. An arrest warrant says the stolen items are worth a total of $3,600.
