NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nearly a month after a man was critically injured in an East Nashville shooting, law enforcement announced another man was arrested in connection with the “apparent drug-related” incident.
According to an affidavit, the Metro Nashville Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 500 block of Norton Avenue around 4 p.m. on Nov. 9.

Officers found the victim — described by authorities as a 24-year-old man — at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds to his lower extremities. He was reportedly taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center and underwent emergency surgery due to the severity of his injuries.
When he got out of surgery, the victim provided a name, birth date, and picture of the suspect who “intentionally produced and discharged a handgun multiple times striking him resulting in life threatening injury,” per the court document.
The MNPD said its Non-Lethal Shooting Unit identified 25-year-old Kyron Cole as the person who shot the victim during a dispute while they were sitting in Cole’s car. Then, TITANS Unit detectives arrested Cole at a market along East Trinity Lane on Thursday, Dec. 4…
