Health advisory issued for Williamson, Maury counties

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) has issued a warning after an increase in cases of histoplasmosis in Williamson and Maury counties.

The advisory issued on Dec. 25, 2025 is to alert clinicians and laboratories to an increase in pulmonary and disseminated histoplasmosis cases in Middle Tennessee.
