NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police have asked for the public’s help finding a suspect wanted in connection with the deadly 2024 shooting of a California rapper.
Christopher Cheeks, 32, was murdered outside a music studio on Hayes Street. Cheeks, who went by the stage name Chris King, was in an alleyway near the studio when a group of men — including 32-year-old Trayvon Palmer, per Metro police — ultimately tried to rob Cheeks and his friends before fatally shooting him.

Amir Carroll, now 20, was taken into custody on East Thompson Lane in February. Adrian Cameron Jr., also 20, was arrested in Los Angeles in May. Metro police said both remain in custody in Nashville on first-degree murder charges.
Parker, however, remains at large. Police said he’s currently believed to be in the Los Angeles area, and his last known address is in Riverside. He’s wanted on a multi-count indictment charging him with robbery and gun offenses as well as first-degree murder.
