Raymond Floyd, 58, died in a single-vehicle crash on I-40 West near the I-65 North split early Sunday morning. The crash happened at about 1:45 a.m. when Floyd’s Cadillac CTS left the road, hit a light pole, and struck a concrete culvert.
Floyd died at the scene. Officials are notifying his family. Investigators found no signs of impairment. The cause of the crash is still under investigation…
