A 58-year-old man has perished in a car accident yesterday morning on I-40 West, near the I-65 North split in Nashville. In an event that can only be described as tragic, the man has been identified as Raymond Floyd. According to a report by the Nashville government’s official website, Floyd’s vehicle, a Cadillac CTS, inexplicably left the road around 1:45 a.m., striking a light pole before coming to rest against a concrete culvert.
