NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — If you’re looking for a fun Christmas photo op, look no further than East Nashville’s own Juniper Jim.
Jim the Juniper tree is a beloved character in the neighborhood. The creative force behind Jim, Emily Fay, first conceptualized him in Halloween of 2024. Her thought process was to make the tree into a silly monster, like those in the Disney film “Monsters, Inc.”
She painted a couple of yoga balls to look like eyes and stuffed them into the branches of the Juniper tree in her yard. The rest, as they say, is history…
