NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Public Health Department has released a new tool meant to help connect Nashville residents to resources across the community.
On Friday, MPHD announced the launch of the Community Resource Directory. The website highlights more than 250 service providers, organizations and other resources organized across nine categories: basic needs and shelter; health and wellness; behavioral health and wellness; community and culture; education and employment; family, social services, and accessibility; legal and civil services; and safety and crisis support.
“Nashville offers many resources to our community, from nonprofits and charities to the work Metro Government does on a daily basis,” Dr. Sanmi Areola, MPHD’s Director of Health, said. “By listing many of those resources in one place, we hope to help more people get the help they need to live their healthiest life.”…
