East Nashville family falls victim to $2,160 scam while searching for lost cat

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — An East Nashville family searching for their missing cat says scammers took advantage of their desperation by posing as police officers and Humane Society employees.

Stewart Moore says his cat, Alfie, slipped outside when a door was left slightly open.
