Infant nearly drowns in Hermitage

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A baby nearly drowned at a home in Hermitage on Wednesday night, according to emergency personnel.

Medics with the Nashville Fire Department responded to a home on Bonnaoaks Drive, along with officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department, around 10 p.m. on Wednesday.

An infant was reported as unresponsive due to drowning, so the medics immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) efforts and were able to keep the baby alive…
