Woman charged with making knife threats at Madison bus stop

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman was arrested Sunday after allegedly making threats with a knife during an argument about religion, according to court documents.

Officers were called at approximately 5 p.m. on Dec. 28 to a bus stop outside Walmart in the 2200 block of Gallatin Pike North. According to arrest reports, a woman said she was having a conversation about religion with a friend when another woman — identified as Jennifer Chamblee, 54 — chimed in, stating that she disagreed. During the dispute, Chamblee allegedly pulled out a silver switchblade style knife and threatened the woman.

Documents said Chamblee was found inside Walmart with a silver folding knife in her possession, and admitted to officers that she pulled out the knife during an argument with the other woman.
