NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — While most people were celebrating or sleeping during the early morning hours of New Year’s Day, multiple women in Middle Tennessee brought new life into the world!
HCA Healthcare said several babies were born across the TriStar Health network of hospitals during the first few hours of 2026. So far, the earliest birth of the year was Baby Jermani at 12:17 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 1 at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, weighing 6 pounds, 11 ounces.

Meanwhile, Williamson Medical Center welcomed its first New Year’s baby within the first hour of 2026. This little girl’s arrival was joyful and memorable for a local family, as well as the hospital staff celebrating the holiday together, according to Williamson Health.
