NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two people were arrested Monday in connection with a December 2025 shooting that left two men injured near North Nashville.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, 34-year-old Trequan Guinn and 31-year-old Deandra Nelson were arrested during a traffic stop at Hamilton Creek Apartments on Monday, Jan. 5. Authorities arrested them in connection with a Dec. 16, 2025 shooting that happened on 25th Avenue North.

Authorities said both Guinn and Nelson told detectives with the MNPD’s Lon-Lethal Shooting Unit they participated in the shooting that left a 69-year-old man critically injured with a gunshot wound to the chest and a 46-year-old man suffering a foot injury.
According to the MNPD, the investigation showed the 69-year-old and the 46-year-old pulled up next to Nelson’s vehicle, which they thought was a friend’s recently stolen Hyundai Sonata. The 46-year-old began trying to slash the tires. In return, Nelson got out of the vehicle and began firing at both men. Police said Guinn left the market he was in “after hearing the gunfire, took possession of the handgun and also fired shots towards the victims.”…
